LocationSmart Device Locator app for iPhone and iPad

The LocationSmart Device Locator is a location-based mobile application used in combination with LocationSmarts Cloud Location Services. The LocationSmart Device Locator enables registered mobile devices to act as context-aware sensors and interact with LocationSmarts cloud-based location determination and contextual triggering platform. The LocationSmart Device Locator, in conjunction with the LocationSmart Platform collect and process location (Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS and Cell ID) and environmental data to obtain accurate, high availability location without the need for proprietary hardware or carrier assets. LocationSmart Platform supports an unlimited number of geofences and event rules evaluation based on proximity to another device or WiFi Network.

The LocationSmart Device Locator enables registered users to:
- Report scheduled location information
- Interactive map of location breadcrumb history (up to 12 hours) using background location
- Trigger cloud-based events based on geofences and context-aware environmental sensor data
- Receive notifications when new messages arrive
- Welcome message with geo-relevant weather details
- Display content-rich messages in the application inbox
- Toggle LocationSmart location services usage from within the application

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
